• U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) - The HUD Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control operates the Healthy Homes program and protects children and their families from lead poisoning. HUD develops lead-based paint regulations and offers lead-based-paint-hazards information via the Internet in the form of brochures and fact sheets featuring childhood lead screening guidance.

Lead Hazard Abatement Grants and Loans

• The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) offers a variety of home improvement products for low-to moderate-income residents of San Diego.
