Lead-awareness and Lead-safe Work Practices Training

The Lead Safe Neighborhoods Program (LSNP) offers the following lead-related training opportunities as well as presentations for people who live or work in San Diego:

• Childcare Provider Training
• HUD-approved Lead-safe Work Practices Training (8 hour course)
• Property Owner/Manager Lead-hazard Prevention Training
• Do-it-yourself Workshops
• Lead-awareness Training for Health-related and Child Development Students, Parents, Teachers and Residents.

Current Training Schedule

If you are interested in one of the offered training programs or presentations and none is scheduled, you may have your name placed on a waiting list. Please call ESD at 858-694-7000.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in any lead awareness or lead-safe work practices training sessions but cannot attend the scheduled times, please let us know a time you would like the training and we’ll try to accommodate your needs. We can also tailor classes for your interest (i.e. for tenants, childcare providers, teachers, painters, etc.).
