All workshops at the San
Diego Zoo are held on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the
Otto Center (1 block south of the zoo's main entrance), located in Balboa
Park at 2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.
Master Composter Training Course
Become an expert in composting, meet new people and participate in interesting
events, all while serving your community. The Master Composter course provides
training in the art and science of composting, soil management and how to
teach it to others. Certification depends on class attendance and completion
of 30 hours of community outreach. People of all ages and abilities are
encouraged to apply. A $30 materials fee will be collected at the first

Schedule
Classes are held in the Auditorium of the Ridgehaven "Green Building"
at 9601 Ridgehaven Ct., San Diego, CA 92123. The course will be taught
on Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on April 8, 15, 22, 29 and
May 6, 2008.
