Long-Term Resource Management Strategic Plan
The City of San Diego has developed a Long Term Strategic Plan that identifies options for managing the millions of tons of solid waste generated within the City and disposed of at the Miramar Landfill every year. West Miramar Landfill, the City's only municipally-operated landfill, is currently projected to reach capacity and close by 2022.
