The City of San Diego Environmental Services Department Invites High
School Students to the 8th Annual Youth Forum.
Saturday, April 19, 2008
10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The purpose of the forum is to highlight the academic and career opportunities
in the Environmental Protection field for students as they begin to think
about life after high school. Students in attendance will experience:
- Dialogue with community leaders and students
- Presentations from local government, universities and corporations
- Lunch with an interesting group of their peers
The San Diego Green Schools Youth Forum is a program offered to high
school students throughout San Diego County. Linking the leaders of tomorrow
with the leaders of today, representatives from the San Diego City Government
and local universities, as well as, notable business leaders will illustrate
the possibilities available to students after high school. Speakers will
present various environmental opportunities in the region and will emphasize
how today's high school students can achieve a future in environmental
education and environmental careers.
