Non-Agenda Comment
This portion of the agenda provides an opportunity
for members of the public to address the Commission
on items of interest within the jurisdiction of the
Commission.
Comments are limited to no more than three minutes
per speaker. Submit requests to speak to the City
Clerk prior to 5:00 p.m. Pursuant to the Ralph M.
Brown Act, no discussion or action, other than a
referral, shall be taken by the Commission on any
issue brought forth under "Non-Agenda Comment." |

Commissioners to make announcements or comments. |

Commission Procedures - Audits
Discussion and possible action regarding creation of
Commission rules and regulations relating to audits.
San Diego Municipal Code section 26.0401 states that the purposes of the Commission shall be to monitor, administer, and enforce the City’s governmental ethics laws, propose new governmental ethics law reforms, conduct investigations, refer violations to appropriate enforcement agencies, audit disclosure statements, and advise and educate City officials and the public about governmental ethics laws. San Diego Municipal Code section 26.0414 provides more detail about the duties and responsibilities and the Commission; and empowers the Commission to adopt rules and regulations, subject to approval of the City Council, to carry out those duties and responsibilities. |

Discussion and possible action regarding creation of Commission rules and regulations for presentation to City Council.
