Fire Station 20
Fire Station 20 was originally opened at 3575 Kettner in 1928. The currrent building opened in November 1962. Station 20 is responsible for repair, maintenance and testing of fire hose. There are 3,000 feet of hose on each of the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department's 47 fire engines. The cost ranges from $70.00 for a small diameter hose to $400.00 for a large 4 inch hose.
Fire Station 20 serves Loma Portal/Sports Arena and its surrounding areas.
