Communications and Dispatch Center
The Communications Division oversees all internal and external emergency communication equipment and dispatch staff ensuring that equipment and personnel are able to easily communicate with the public and each other.
"9-1-1, Fire, Medical, Where's Your Emergency?....."
When you have a fire or medical emergency in the City of San Diego, you will end up talking with personnel at the Fire/EMS Dispatch Center located in Kearny Mesa.
Staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the center is responsible for all medical, fire, and rescue operations in the City of San Diego and is also contracted to dispatch for the City of Poway.
