QUALCOMM was the first business to sponsor a private CERT academy in the City of San Diego for its employees in spring 2006. Qualcomm’s Vice President of Real Estate and Facilities- Jim Callaghan and Director of Operations, Carey Storm were awarded commendations for QUALCOMM’s commitment to public service and public safety in February 2006 by San Diego City Council President Scott Peters.
