| | | | | | | | Community OutreachCommunity involvement is what makes CERT San Diego work. During its beginnings in 2004, CERT San Diego went in to some of the areas hardest hit by the 2003 Cedar Fire. Since then, CERT San Diego has grown to include a total of 15 community groups around the City. Our goal is to reach out to as many San Diego communities as possible and share the message of disaster preparedness and community volunteerism. But that will only happen if you take that first step and sign up for an Academy. At present, we have not selected the dates for the next CERT San Diego Academy. However, if you wish to be notified when the dates are announced, please follow this link and add your name to the growing list of community members who want to learn how to be prepared to survive in the first 72 hours after a disaster. If you do not live or work in the City of San Diego, there are other CERT programs in San Diego County in cities such as El Cajon, Chula Vista, Del Mar and Oceanside. Visit County of San Diego CERT Contacts to find your local CERT program. |
