Other Inspections

FCIP Self-Inspection Program

A FCIP Self-Inspection (PDF: 26K) checklist for business, office and mercantile occupancies which are not otherwise inspected is mailed out once a year.

Night Detail Inspection Program

Businesses requiring a Public Assembly permit (locations where 50 or more people gather) are monitored for overcrowding. Inspections are performed at night and on weekends.

Unannounced inspections are performed periodically during the year.

Special Survey Inspection

When a business needs an inspection performed which is not otherwise done on an annual basis, it must complete a Special Survey (PDF: 566K) application. The application form can be completed on line and then mailed in.

The information which must be included on the application is: the applicant's name and the business name, if appropriate, as well as the address of the applicant, business, and the job site. Under "COMMENTS/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR REQUIREMENTS," indicate why you need the inspection. Sign and date the application.

The application should be mailed, along with a check for $119 payable to the "City Treasurer," to:
