Important Notice for Reservations

Beginning on April 2, 2007 all reserved times will start at 7:07 a.m. Times from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. Phone reservations 7 days in advanced will now be released at 7:30 p.m. at (619) 570-1234. You may reserve tee times from 1 to 7 days in advance through the automated system. If you would like to speak with one of our staff members to make a reservations within the 7 day window, please call (619) 235-1184 or visit us in person at the Balboa Golf Course Manager's office from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Beginning Tuesday, September 2, 2008 Twilight start time will change from 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Course Facts & Figures

Facilities include: An 18-hole golf course and a 9-hole executive golf course, driving range, practice putting greens, coffee shop and half-way house. The Golf Shop offers golf merchandise for sale and the rental of clubs, hand and power golf carts. The Professional Golf staff offers group and individual golf lessons.

Green Fees

Balboa Park Golf Course Green Fees (PDF: 15K)

One of five following documents required at time of ID card purchase:

1. Permanent California Drivers License with current address, (PO box is NOT acceptable address)
2. California Auto Registration (PO box NOT acceptable address)
3. Property Tax Bill
4. Active duty military ID card; stationed in San Diego
5. current High School or College ID with picture
6. Resident Identification cards can be puchased in the managers office from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. daily or by appointment by calling 619-235-1184

All tournaments are at non-resident rates, $55 tournament fees, carts required. Please call (858) 552-1610 to schedule a tournament

Tournament booking fee does not include the Men's and Women's Golf Club Events.

Power Cart rentals are $26 for 18 & $12 for 9 holes

Club rentals $20 for 18 & $10 for 9 holes
