Participating During COVID
Until further notice, Redistricting Commission meetings will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of California Executive Order 29-20, which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act. During the current State of Emergency and in the interest of public health and safety, all of the Commissioners will be participating in Redistricting Commission meetings by teleconference. In accordance with the Executive Order, there will be no members of the public participating in person at the Redistricting Commission meetings. We are providing alternatives to in-person attendance for viewing and participating in the meetings.
In lieu of in-person attendance, members of the public may participate and provide comment using the Redistricting Commission webform, email submission or via U.S. Mail of written materials, as follows:
Public Comment Testimony During Redistricting Commission Meetings
To offer public comment testimony during a Redistricting Commission meeting, you need to first join the Zoom Webinar meeting online from your desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

How to Speak on a Particular Item or Non-Agenda Public Comment
When the item is introduced that you would like to comment on (or it is time for Non-Agenda Public Comment), raise your hand by tapping the "Raise your Hand" button on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You may only speak once on a particular item.
When it is your turn to speak, click the unmute prompt that will appear on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
Providing Written Comment Through the Webform
Commenting on Agenda Items: Please use the webform to indicate the agenda item number that you would like to comment on. Instructions for word limitations and deadlines are noted on the form.
Non-Agenda Public Comment: You may submit Non-Agenda Public Comment using the webform, and checking the appropriate box. Instructions for word limitations and deadlines are noted on the form.
Written Materials: If you wish to submit written materials for submission into the record, you may submit it via U.S. mail to 202 C Street, MS2A San Diego, CA 92101.
