The Human Resources Department's mission is to provide a connection between management and employees in an effort to enhance morale and productivity, limit job turnover, support a responsive and innovative workforce, and help the City deliver services in a fiscally-sound, efficient manner. The Department is composed of various independent programs and activities that include Labor Relations, Employee Learning and Development, the Citizens' Review Board on Police Practices, the City's Volunteer Program, and the Human Relations Commission.
