Lisa Byrne, Fiscal & Policy Analyst
Lisa Byrne joined the Office of the Independent Budget Analyst (IBA) in June 2009. Lisa is the IBA's representative to the Natural Resources & Culture Committee, and provides analysis on issues pertaining to the City's Public Utilities Department, including Water and Sewer, and the Environmental Services Department. She also provides analysis for the City's pension and retiree health benefits.
Lisa’s prior government experience includes working as an Analyst for the State of New Jersey’s Office of Management and Budget. There she analyzed the impacts of issues relating to salary and employee benefits, including pensions and health benefits. At the State of New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission and Department of Education she was charged with budget, financial, policy and process analyses. Additionally, she served as an auditor with the New Jersey Office of the State Auditor.
Lisa has a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Penn State and holds a Certified Public Accountant license with the State of New Jersey.
