There will be another swim tryout on Saturday, December 17th, 9:00 a.m., at Ventura Cove, 1000 W. Mission Bay Drive. This is a makeup day for the Saturday, November 5th, tryout which was canceled because of rain.

The bulletin states: "Applications will be evaluated to ensure they meet the minimum requirements. Only those applicants who clearly demonstrate meeting the requirements specified above will be approved to continue in the screening process"…." Candidates will be allowed to select their preferred test date. If you meet the minimum requirements and your application is approved, you will be notified of how to self-schedule your test date". Based on this information, and the Neogov system, management has decided we are not going to test candidates who have not previously applied, had their application approved and self-scheduled for a performance test. The September 8th test date has been opened for self-scheduling. Therefore, we encourage you to apply and self-schedule your performance test (the 500 meter swim).
