Scholarships
The Junior Lifeguard Program prides itself on providing opportunities to all qualified students. If cost is an issue, we have full and partial scholarships available. Scholarships are available for one session per child. Proof of all sources of annual income must accompany scholarship applications.
PLEASE NOTE: Scholarships will be limited to a total of ten spots for Session 1AM, 1PM, and 2AM. Spots will be given to qualified applicants based on the date and time the completed application packet was received. All other qualifed applicants will be placed in Session 2PM. For this reason we highly recommend you turn in your complete application packet as soon as the application period begins on April 9th. Please write the session you wish to participate in the top right corner of the application form.
Scholarship applicants do not need to register with our online registration system until after your application has been approved. You will be assigned a session based on the date and time your packet was received by our Lifeguard Services office. Our staff will contact you regarding registration procedures when your child/children are approved for a scholarship.
The scholarship application period begins Monday, April 9, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. and ends April 20, 2012 at 12 p.m. Scholarship packets will not be accepted before April 9 or after April 20, no exceptions.
A complete scholarship packet includes the following:
- A completed 2012 Scholarship Application Form
- Your 2011 1040 forms (all pages)
- If applicable, a Profit & Loss Statement and Schedule C forms (should be included with 1040 forms)

You can either mail or drop off your scholarship application packet to our Lifeguard Services office during the application period only.
Please note: We recommend you drop off your completed application packet in person.

**PLEASE DO NOT FAX YOUR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PACKET. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS VIA FAX.
