Our extensive Speakers Bureau presents professionals from a variety of our facilities that deliver expertise in areas such as chemistry, biology, civil engineering, project management, and ocean monitoring. They'll share information that highlights our:

• Ocean monitoring program including state-of-the-art chemistry and biology laboratories
• Point Loma Wastewater Treatment Plant that processes approximately 180 million gallons of wastewater a day from San Diego and 15 other cities and districts
• North City Water Reclamation Plant (located off I-805 and Miramar Road)
• South Bay Water Reclamation Plant (located off I-5 and Dairy Mart Road)
• Metro Biosolids Center (located on Convoy Street off Route 52)
• Industrial Wastewater Control Program (monitors wastewater from industries)
• Grease-Related Sewer Spill Education
• Sewer Spill Prevention Program
• Volunteer Canyon Watchers Program

Currently the only tours of Public Utilities facilities being offered are for the Water Purification Demonstration Project.
