Auto Repair

Conducting an auto repair business in a residential zone is not permitted (San Diego Municipal Code, Section 131.0422).

Routine, minor maintenance on vehicles that belong to the residents on the property may occur. Extensive auto repair (e.g., most work beyond changing the oil or a flat tire) is not permitted in residential zones. Working on non-resident-owned vehicles is not permitted.
