City of San Diego Redevelopment Agency
The Board of Directors of the City of San Diego Redevelopment Agency meets in the City Council Chambers of the City Administration Building at 202 'C' Street, 12th Floor, in Downtown San Diego. Although the Redevelopment Agency is a separate legal entity, the City Council serves as its Board. The City Council President chairs the Board, the Mayor is the Executive Director, and the City Attorney serves as General Counsel. The City's Redevelopment Department serves as staff to the Agency. Peninsula Community Planning Board
The Peninsula Community Planning Board enables citizens living or working in the Peninsula Community Planning Area to participate in the planning process. It is an officially recognized community-based citizen body created to work with the City Planning & Community Investment Department to formulate and implement the Peninsula Community Plan (PDF: 7.6Mb) and deal with land use issues in the planning area, which includes the Naval Training Center. The planning board also advises the City's Planning Commission, Mayor, and City Council on planning and land use issues in the community.
The Peninsula Community Planning Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are typically held at the Point Loma Branch Library at 3701 Voltaire Street.
