Recreation Center Hours
Monday to Friday:
Noon to 7:45 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED
*Times are subject to change
Facilities
Outdoor courts, tot lot, playground, picnic areas, a multi purpose athletic field, tennis courts, a full size gymnasium, meeting room, game room, craft room, full size kitchen and a swimming pool nearby.

Summer Camp registration will begin on May 3, please read page 2 of the Summer Camp Brochure for more info. Camps offered by Kid City Sports (Page 5), Carmel Valley Tennis (Page 6), Gamebreaker Lacrosse, Adrenaline Lacrosse, Master Sports Camp PLAYBALL (page 7), Camp Science Safari & Euro Sports (Page 8) will be conducting their own registration. Please read the registration instructions under each class description.
History of the Center
The Carmel Valley Recreation Center and pool were built in 1999 and were dedicated the same year.

Map this location
From Interstate 5 South exit on Del Mar Heights Road. Turn left and travel east to El Camino Real where there is a traffic light. Turn right on El Camino Real. Turn left on Townsgate Drive. The park and facility are on the right.
From Interstate 5 North take the Carmel Valley Road exit. Turn right at the end of the exit and travel to El Camino Real. Turn left on El Camino Real and travel to Townsgate Drive. Turn right on Townsgate Drive. The park and facility are on the right.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 89 (weekdays only).
