Approximately 7,000 sq. ft. with above ground ramps and rails. Bleachers for parents to sit and watch their children skate and a small picnic area. Also, a walk course around the park. Limited rental equipment on hand for public check-out with appropriate ID. Equipment includes, helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and skateboards.
History of the Skate Park
It is named for the former Distict 4 Councilmemeber who was instrumental in getting this skate park built. The park opened in June 2005.

Interstate 805 to the Plaza Blvd. exit, go East for approximately 1 mile. The parking lot is accessible off Potomac Street.
Located on corner of Paradise Valley Road and Potomac Street, the Skate Park is accessible by bus via San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (SDMTS) bus route 962 (weekdays only).
