The S.P.O.R.T.S Committee invites you to sign up for  Youth Softball/Baseball Sponsored by STAR/PAL - Boys and girls, divisions 8 to 10 years old, 11 to 12 years old and 13 to 14 years old. Games will be played on Saturdays. Practices TBA. Registration will begin June 8th, 2009. Cost is only $10.00 per person w/ age verification due at time of registration.

History of the Center

Colina Del Sol Recreation Center was dedicated to the City of San Diego in 1962. The park was named following a contest conducted through the area elementary schools whose students wanted it to be named "Slopes of the sun."

From Highway 94, exit Euclid Ave. and travel north. Turn left on Trojan Street, then left on 52nd Street. Turn left on Orange Ave. The park is on the right.

From Interstate 8, exit College Ave. south and turn right on El Cajon Blvd. Proceed to 52nd Street and turn left, then left again on Orange Ave. The park is on the right.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 1, 7, 10, 15, 955.
