Facilities

Lopez Ridge Recreation Center has meeting rooms available for rent for birthday parties, board/staff meetings, monthly meetings, trainings and more. We have an outdoor basketball court, baseball field, a beautifully shaded playground and picnic area, with a scenic view of native plant life.

Nearby Camino Ruiz Neighborhood Park has Gazebos available to rent for parties and other special occasions. Please call (858) 538-8171 for more information; reservations required.

History of the Center

Lopez Ridge was built in 2002, giving our neighborhood a beautiful place to enjoy San Diego’s gorgeous climate. This quaint neighborhood park has a total of 17.88 acres of beautiful scenery and has evolved into a popular place of leisure for the whole Mira Mesa Community.

Directions and Bus Route

Map this location

From I-15 take the Mira Mesa Blvd exit, and turn east. In approximately 3.4 miles turn right onto Camino Santa Fe. In approximately 1 mile turn right onto Calle Cristobal. The center is on the right in in approximately 0.7 miles.

From I-805 take the Mira Mesa Blvd/Vista Sorrento Pkwy exit and turn east onto Mira Mesa Blvd. In approximately 2.4 miles turn left onto Camino Santa Fe. In approximately 1 mile turn right onto Calle Cristobal. The center is on the right in in approximately 0.7 miles.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 921.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Lopez Ridge Recreation Center, located at 7245 Calle Cristobal.
