The North Clairemont Recreation Center offers Youth/Adult Self Defense classes, Tennis lessons, a New Tiny Tot program for 3 to 5 year olds, Youth Basketball Leagues, Youth Soccer Leagues, Youth Flag-Football Leagues, as well as Adult Coed/Men's Soccer, Adult Men's/Women's Basketball, and Adult Flag Football Leagues.  Take a look at our current program to see how we can help you recreate.

Summer Youth Basketball League Registration - April 14 to May 16 for ges 6 to 17 years old.  Cost is $60.00 (8 to 17 years old) and $45.00 (6to 7years old).  Proof of age (birth certificate) and liability form need to be completed at the time of registration.  Player Evaluations will be held on Saturday May 17th.  League begins the week of June 16 and runs through the end of August 2008.  $10.00 late fee will be added to all registrations taken after May 16th.  Space is limited, sign up now.
 
New Tiny Tots Program:  Hopscotch San Diego is offering a new Tiny Tots programs for ages 3 to 5 years old.  Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  Children receive much one-on-one attention in the Tiny Tots room while creating their artwork and composing their musical masterpieces.  Introductions to sports, arts, music, and learning.  All children must be potty trained prior to enrollment.  $60.00/month for one day a week, $120.00 a month for 2 days a week.  Enroll today.

History of the Center

The park land was acquired in 1954 and the rec center was built in 1960. An official dedication ceremony took place in 1974.

From Interstate 805 take the Clairemont Mesa Boulevard West exit to Genesee Avenue. Turn left on Genesee and then right on Bannock. The center is on the left.

From Interstate 5 take State Route 52 East to the Genesse exit, turn left (south) onto Genesee.  Turn right on Bannock Ave. The center will be on the left.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 41, 44 & 50.
