Baseball - Registration from May 1 to June 4 for boys and girls 8 to 12 years.  Cost is $15 and league play will begin in July.

AYSO Soccer Registration - May 16, 2009, 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. Cost is $85. For more information, please visit their website.

Dance Classes - Summer session on Mondays beginning in July. See the flyer for details!

Summer Lunch Program - From July 21 to August 31 for kids ages 2 to 18.  Lunch will be served from Noon to 1:00 p.m. and Snack 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. All food must be eaten at the Rec. Center.

Flag Football - Registration from August 1 to September 7 for boys and girls 8 to 12. Cost is $40.

Summer Break - July 20, 2009 through August 31, 2009, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Registration July 1, 2009 through July 16 2009. Ages 7 to 12 years. Cost is $25. Spaces limited to first 25.

Afterschool Program - September through June Monday to Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.  Boys and girls 7 to 12 years old. Free!

History of the Center

The site center was built in 1989/1990. Prior to Penn Athletic Field being there, the land was undeveloped.

From Interstate 805, take the Interstate 54 East. Take the Plaza Bonita Center Way/Reo Drive exit. Turn left and proceed to Parkside, then turn right. Travel approximately one mile to the second stop sign and turn left on Dusk Drive. Go up the hill and look for the parking lot on the right hand side of the street.

The Field is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 961 & 962.
