Facilities
The recreation center and park are located on 38 acres that offer two play areas, eight ballfields, two outdoor basketball courts, six tennis courts, areas for lawn bowling, a gazebo a senior center, an indoor gymnasium and rooms available for rent. Call the center for details.

Holiday Extravaganza
Saturday, December 10, 2011
10:00 a.m. to Noon
A fun filled event that includes breakfast, entertainment arts and crafts, and a very special visit from Santa.

Fliptime Gymnastics
New session begins Monday, November 7, 2011
$54 per 4 week session, class meets on Mondays
Super Tots, ages 3 to 5 years: 3:00 to 3:45 p.m.
Shooting Stars, ages 6 years and up: 3:50 to 4:35 p.m.

Tiny Tots Program
Children will learn ABC’s, numbers, Art and Crafts, Sharing, Playtime, Dance and much more!
Ages 3 to 5 years (Children must be potty trained)
Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
$150 per month

History of the Center

The Rancho Bernardo Recreation Center was built in 1995. In January of 2002, the center's name was changed to add Stuart Glassman's name. Glassman, who died in 2001, was a dedicated volunteer who saw that many recreational opportunities came to the community.


Directions and Bus Route

Map this location

From Interstate 15 take the West Bernardo Drive/Pomerado Road exit and turn left at the traffic light. Proceed around Lake Hodges for approximately a quarter of a mile, then turn right on Rancho Bernardo Community Park Drive. The center is on the left.

The Center is accessible by bus via San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (SDMTS) route 20.
