If you are registering a child for an activity, please do not use the childís information when completing a New Account. Adding family members after successfully creating an account can be completed later.

FREE SPRING LUNCH PROGRAM
Free Spring Lunch will be offered to children 18 years and younger Monday through Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. starting March 30 through April 24. Free snacks will be offered from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This program is offered in partnership with the San Diego Unified School District, and received an Award of Excellence from the California Parks and Recreation Society.
We are currently taking registration for our youth soccer teams: Pee Wee, 8-10u, 11-12u, 13-14u, 15-16u. The cost is $15 per participants. Age cut-off date is June 13, 2015.
Spring Egg Hunt
Join us for a fund time at this annual event. There will be three (3) special eggs per division - (2 through 3 yrs old, 4 through 5 yrs old, 6 through 8 yrs old, and 9 through 12 yrs old). Please arrive early and gather at the outdoor basketball court. The egg hunt begins promptly at 11:00 am. No registration required.

Yoga - Empower Yourself with Yoga
This is a gentle Hatha Yoga class designed for adults of all levels of experience. The class meets every Wednesday at 6:00 pm. This is a FREE class.
This is a challenging theater arts program for aspiring performers. Performers will build self-esteem and leadership skills as they work together in preparation for our 2015 Holiday show - "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" The cost is $20 per year.
Volunteers needed. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the recreation center.
History of the Center
The 15 acre site was acquired in 1955 and the recreation center was built in 1960. Significant renovations took place in 1998.
Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 163 take the Genesee West exit and travel west to Linda Vista Road. Turn left on Linda Vista Road and proceed to Levant Street, then turn right. The center is located at the end of Levant Street across from the County Children’s Services Building.
From Interstate 5 North take the Balboa Avenue exit and travel east to Genesee. Turn right on Genesee, then right on Linda Vista Road. Turn left on Levant Street. The center at the end of the street.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 25, 41 & 44.
