Visit SDRecConnect (link) to conveniently browse a variety of activities offered by the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Department and Recreation Councils. Its as easy as One, Two, and Three. Sign up for an account, find a class or activity, and register!

If you are registering a child for an activity, please do not use the childs information when completing a New Account. Adding family members after successfully creating an account can be completed later.

Free Spring Lunch will be offered to children 18 years and younger Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. starting March 30 through April 24. Free snacks will be offered from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This program is offered in partnership with the San Diego Unified School District, and received an Award of Excellence from the California Parks and Recreation Society.

Youth Basketball

This league is for all skill levels. Teams will play other recreation centers in the area and have a chance to qualify for the city-wide tournament in March.
Season: January 2015 through March 2015
Divisions: Pee Wee Division (5-7 years), 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 14u Girls, 16u Girls
Cost: $10.00 per player
All costs will go towards player awards and a year-end banquet

Spring Egg Hunt

Come to Mt. View Community Center and take part in its annual Spring Egg Hunt! Enjoy, music, arts and crafts, candy, and prizes! You can also take a picture with the Spring Bunny! All for FREE!

Mt View Community Yard Sale

Do you want to empty your garage that filled with stuff you don’t use anymore? Mt. View Community Center is having its first of four Community Yard Sales of the year! Come and rent a space for $6.00 and sell your used goods! Call 619-527-3434 for more information. Location of the yard sale will be in the North Mt View Park parking lot (off of Ocean View Blvd)

History of the Center

Mountain View was dedicated in 1914, and was one of the first parks to be dedicated in San Diego. People still talk about the great car shows that took place in the park back in the 1960's.

Directions and Bus Route

Map this location

From Interstate 805 take the Imperial Avenue exit and travel west. Turn left onto 40th Street, then left onto T Street. The facility is at South Boundary Street.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 3, 4, 11 & 955.
