FREE SPRING LUNCH PROGRAM
Free Spring Lunch will be offered to children 18 years and younger Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. starting March 30 through April 24. Free snacks will be offered from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This program is offered in partnership with the San Diego Unified School District, and received an Award of Excellence from the California Parks and Recreation Society.
Spring Egg Hunt
We will be having an Egg Hunt, Bunny Appearance, DJ, Jumper, Candy, Basket Prizes and more.
The egg hunt times for 5 years and
Under will be at 10:15 am, 10 years and Under 10:45 am, and All Ages 11:15 am
Ages: 17 years and Under free
March 28, 2015 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Cost is FREE
FREE Adult Fitness ClassTuesday and Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Youth Tennis LessonsMonday & Wednesday, 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Cost is $20 per month per child
Registration is only accepted from the first through the fourth day of the month. Additional $10.00 fee will apply for late registration.

History of the Center
The land was acquired in 1912, then dedicated in 1928. Hall of Fame baseball player Ted Williams used to play here as a child. The rec center is one of the oldest in the city.
Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 805, take the El Cajon Boulevard exit and go west. Take El Cajon Boulevard to Idaho Street and turn left. The center is on the right hand side.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 15 & 966.
