If you are registering a child for an activity, please do not use the childís information when completing a New Account. Adding family members after successfully creating an account can be completed later.

The Parks Fit San Diego Challenge is to walk or run 30 miles between June 20th and August 20th. Track your mileage and receive a free "I got fit in my park" t-shirt if you complete the 30 miles by the August 20th deadline. Then compete in the finale at NTC/Liberty station park Saturday, August 22, 2015.
The BookNook program is a "take a book, leave a book" gathering place where you can share your favorite literature and stories.
Looking for Men's Softball Teams
Ocean Beach has one of the longest running Men's 16” “Chicago Style” Softball Leagues in San Diego. Do you have a team of guys who would like to play? Multiple seasons throughout the year. All Games are played on Tuesday nights at Bob Kenny Field (corner of Ebers and Newport) in Ocean Beach. If you are interested, please call the Recreation Center at 619-531-1527 for more information.
We now offer Pickleball three days per week in the gym on Mondays & Wednesdays from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, ping-pong and racquetball, in addition it's one of the fastest growing sports in America. It may be a silly name, but it's a serious sport! It is fast paced and easy to learn, great exercise and lots of fun! Come see what the excitement is all about! It is a great sport for active adults and anyone else who likes to have a good time!
The Ocean Beach Recreation Center offers Youth/Adult Self Defense classes, Gymnastics/Tumbling Classes, Ballet Classes, Youth City Dance Classes, Youth Soccer Leagues, Youth Flag-Football Leagues, as well as Adult Pottery/Sculpture Classes, Adult Coed Dodgeball Leagues, Adult Coed Kickball Leagues, Women’s Softball Leagues, & Men’s 16" Softball Leagues. History of the Center
With dedication and grand opening 1946, the center is one of the oldest in the City. The center has been hosting the annual Ocean Beach Kite Festival since 1948.
Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 8 West take the Sunset Cliffs Blvd. exit to Santa Monica and turn left. The center is on the left, across from the elementary school.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 35 & 923.
