Judo
The sport of Judo is a Japanese Martial Art. This program focuses on self-defense and staying fit by building awareness and coordination. This is a non-striking martial art and suitable for the whole family.
Ages: 5 years to Adult

Directions and Bus Route
From Interstate 5, take the Clairemont Drive exit (east) and proceed up the hill. The center on is the right hand side.
From Genesee Avenue take Balboa Avenue (west) to Clairemont Drive and turn left. The center is on the left.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS Routes 27, 50 and 105.

The center is closed on City Holidays.
Facilities
One softball field, one outdoor basketball court, one tennis court, several picnic tables, gazebo and barbecue grills. There is a kitchen, two meeting rooms and a kiln room inside the center. Rooms and gazebo are available for rent, please call the center for details. Clairemont Pool is located next to this facility. See a map (PDF) of Clairemont Area facilities.
South Clairemont Community Recreation Group
This is a group of residents and a forum to address concerns regarding South Clairemont and Tecolote Recreation Centers as well as Mt. Acadia Community Park, East Clairemont Athletic Area and Western Hills Neighborhood Park. Meetings are open to the public and meet monthly on the third Thursday of the month.
