Scripps Ranch Recreation Center offers free open play during the designated hours below. The hours on the calendar are for when the gym is open for basketball or pickleball. The center opened on June 3, 2000. Present at the opening were many members of the Scripps Ranch community who were also involved in the design of the facility.

From Interstate 15, take the Scripps Poway Parkway exit. Go east and turn right on Cypress Canyon Road. Then turn right at the stop sign, which will be Blue Cypress Drive. The park and recreation facility is halfway up the hill on the right.

Scripps Ranch Recreation Center is not accessible by bus via SDMTS.
