Summer Camp

Session June 16 through August 26, 2014
Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Ages 5 to 14
Fee $50 per week (field trips have an additional fee)

*Participants must attend all field trips or make alternative care arrangements on field trip days.
*Participants will receive a free lunch and snack.

Weekly Field Trips to San Diego Zoo, Museums in Balboa Park, Beach, Boomers, Aquatica, and Mission Trails Regional Park. Additional fees will be due for field trips. Register on-line at

Summer Lunch

FREE BBQ special event on Wednesday, June 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
All children 18 years and younger can eat for FREE as part of the Summer Lunch Program Co-Sponsored by the San Diego School District.

Organ Wise Guys

June 23 to August 22, 2014
Monday through Friday
11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This FREE program will offer nutrition instruction and guided physical activity for children ages 7 to 12 years. This program is funded by the National Recreation & Parks Society and Walmart.

Movies in the Park

Saturday, August 8, 2014
Movie starts at dusk.
Bring a blanket, chairs and friends to watch "The Lego Movie" projected on a giant screen in the park. Enjoy a relaxing summer evening under the stars compliments of the Skyline Hills Recreation

Online Registration

Register online for Programs offered by the Recreation Council, using the Online Activity Registration System. Log on at

Set up your account and browse classes now. Winter 2015 classes will be viewable on October 25, 2014, and will become available for registration on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.

  • Returning Customers (who have previously registered for classes online)
    Click the My Account button. Enter your login (email address) and password.

    If you’ve forgotten your password, click My Account, then click the small “Forgotten?” link. Enter the email address you used when you created the account, and the system will send you a temporary password via email. Log in with the temporary password and the system will prompt you for your “Current password” - which means the temporary password in this case - and a new password of your choice. Be sure to click Save!

  • First Time Online Customers
    Click the Create Account*** button. Fill out the New Account Request form completely for the primary responsible person, usually a parent or head of household, including all required fields, (Birth date, Gender, Email Address, etc.) and click Submit (or Submit & Add Family Member to add your other family members). In a short time, check your email for a confirmation message with a special first-time activation link. You will not be able to use your new account until you've used this special link! Note that it's possible this email will go to your “spam” folder, so check carefully. To avoid duplication, be sure to let others in your household know you've set up the account.

***Important!: If you are registering a child for an activity, please use your own information, not your child's, when first completing the New Account Request form. Once you have filled it out for yourself, click “Submit,” or “Submit & Add Family Member” to add others such as your spouse and children. You can also easily add children later after you've created and confirmed the account. Be sure to check your email for a confirmation message with a special first-time activation link. You will not be able to use your new account until you've used this special link!

History of the Center

The center was built in 1969.

From Interstate 5, travel to Hwy 54 East. Take the Woodman exit to Skyline. Turn right on Skyline.  The park is on the right.

The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 4, 11, 961 & 962.
