Facilities
A gymnasium, a game room, a craft room, a kitchen, and meeting rooms that are available for rent. There is a children's tot lot, a lighted multipurpose court and four youth ball fields near a large picnic area which offers tables and benches.

San Carlos Recreation Center offers a full range of fun, healthy, life enhancing classes and activities for people 1 and up. Join us for Baton Twirling, Girl’s Volleyball, Flag Football, or maybe a Basketball Skills Clinic. Try any of our ten Dance classes! Try Crafts, Tumbling, or Gymnastics. Learn Karate! Take a free fitness class for people 55 and up, or enjoy a night out while your kids have a fun evening here with us!

History of the Center
The San Carlos Recreation Center opened in 1970, following planning meetings held in area residents' homes. Many of the people who were committed to having recreational opportunities in the San Carlos community then, remain involved with on-going programs and special events.

From Interstate 8 take the Lake Murray exit. Take Lake Murray to Jackson Drive and turn left. Take Jackson Drive to Lake Badin and turn right the center is on the corner of Lake Badin and Lake Adlon.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS routes 115 & 854.
