Facilities
One softball field, one outdoor basketball court, one tennis court, several picnic tables, gazebo and barbeque grills. There is a kitchen, two meeting rooms and a kiln room inside the center. Upcoming Programs
Kay’s K9 Training
Classes focus on your leadership skills and use positive reinforcement techniques so that you become the dog trainer. "I train you, you train your dog". I recommend and encourage socialization from the start. We will work on your leadership around children, other dogs, and distractions. The goal is a dog that you can have in public that is well behaved and focused on you as the respected leader. Family Oriented. Kids are welcome!

Tiny Tots
Children learn the basic ABC’s number recognition, sharing, arts and crafts, story time, playtime and more. Children must be potty trained at time of enrollment.
Ages: 3 to 5 years
Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Cost: $150.00 (5 Week session)

Have your child explore their creative side with fun, exciting, and sometimes messy craft projects!

The pee wee sports program is designed to teach youngsters the basic fundamentals of sports taught in a fun environment.

Arts/Crafts Astro Jumps Fun Fun
2010 Family Day
Come and share the fun with the Clairemont Community on this once a year Family Day event on August 7th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.! There will be pancake breakfast, car show, live entertainment, free swim at the pool, and many many vendor booths from the community! Please call (858) 581-9924 for more information or to register for a booth at the event.
History of the Center
The South Clairemont Recreation Center was constructed in 1957 to meet the recreational needs of the community. The swimming pool, located next to the center, was built in 1977.
Directions and Bus Route

From Interstate 5, take the Clairemont Drive exit (east) and proceed up the hill the center on is the right hand side.
From Genesee take Balboa Avenue (west) to Clairemont Drive. Turn left the center is on the left.
The center is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 27, 50 & 105.
