Soccer sign-ups - March 1 to April 16, 2010. Ages 8 to 14 years. Must have birth certificate and permission slip. Cost: $15:00. Season is from March 22 to June 5, 2010.

Spring Egg Hunt - April 2, 2010. 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Ages 1 to 12 years. Bring your own basket! Please see our flyer for details!

Pitch, Hit, & Run - April 9, 2010. Starts at 4:00 p.m. Ages 7 to 14 years. Must have permission slip to participate. For boys and girls to compete in pitching, hitting, and running.

History of the Center

On August 15, 1972 the Southern Area Committee approved plans for the Silver Wing site to include a multipurpose field, a tot lot area, a basketball court, and picnic areas. Construction began January 1974. Both the building and the park was dedicated on May 8, 1976. The Otay Mesa Recreation Council was officially recognized on March 2, 1977. The park sign was dedicated April 18, 1987.  We are not the park with the big silver wing momunment.  That park is called Montgomery-Waller Community Park.
