Important Notice for Reservations

Balboa golf course office phone lines will be down due to an upgrade for short period on Tuesday Oct. 27th from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.. Please call back Wednesday during regular office hours 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. & staff will be glad to assist. We apologize for this minor service impact but thank you for your cooperation. Beginning on April 2, 2007 all reserved times will start at 7:07 a.m. Times from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. Phone reservations 7 days in advanced will now be released at 7:30 p.m. at (619) 570-1234. You may reserve tee times from 1 to 7 days in advance through the automated system. If you would like to speak with one of our staff members to make a reservations within the 7 day window, please call (619) 235-1184 or visit us in person at the Balboa Golf Course Manager's office from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Course Updates

BALBOA BULLETIN - 11/19/09

Balboa Park Golf Course will be staging a holiday Public Shotgun starting at 8:00 a.m. Thanksgiving Thursday, November 26, 2009. Please call the Balboa office at (619) 235-1184 and give your name and the number of golfers to reserve your spot. If no staff pick up, please leave a brief message with the required information. Staff will check messages hourly, and will return your call to confirm your spot. Hurry for this first time event.

No early bird or Twilight play that holiday. Check in starts at 7:00 a.m. Golf course will be closed to practice amd further play after 3:00 p.m.!

Tobey’s restaurant will be serving Thanksgiving turkey dinners until 3:00 p.m. So come enjoy Balboa golf course and restaurant with your friends this holiday.

Course Facts & Figures

Facilities include: An 18-hole golf course and a 9-hole executive golf course, driving range, practice putting greens, coffee shop and half-way house. The Golf Shop offers golf merchandise for sale and the rental of clubs, hand and power golf carts. The Professional Golf staff offers group and individual golf lessons.
