Mission Bay Park

Playa 2

Playa 2 is also known as Information Cove South, or Playa Pacifica. Playa 2 is located south of the Visitors Information Center and north of the Hilton Hotel on East Mission Bay Drive. There is a swimming area with a lifeguard on duty during the summer months. There is a tot lot, a picnic shelter, basketball courts, fire rings and a path for jogging or bike riding.

Note: Be sure to arrive very early on summer weekends as the parking lots tend to fill up quickly.

Maximum Capacity	300 people. No permits are issued for the Playa 1 area.
Available Hours	4:00am to 2:00am
Food/Beverages	Food is allowed onsite but no glass containers. Alcohol is not permitted.
Restrooms	There are restrooms nearby
