Get Involved

Public participation is an important part of the community plan update process, and the City is committed to involving a broad range of stakeholders to provide input in the development of the community plans. Here’s how you can get involved:

Join the E-Mail List

If you are interested in participating in the community plan updates or would like to be kept informed of public meetings and workshops, please send an email to tgalloway@sandiego.gov or call (619) 533-4550 and provide your contact information and the name of the community plan in which you are interested.

Participate in Workshops/Open Houses

Public workshops and open houses will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to learn more about the plan updates and provide input about their priorities for the community. Workshops for each plan update will be conducted in Summer and Fall 2012. Date and location information will be posted when the workshops are scheduled.

Attend Meetings of the Community Plan Update Advisory Committee

Community Plan Update Advisory Committees have been established to work with the City on both the Old Town San Diego and Midway/Pacific Highway Corridor Community Plan Updates. The Committees are comprised of a broad range of stakeholder groups to represent various community interests and meetings are open to the public. You can access agendas, meeting summaries and presentations from past meetings on the Stakeholder Committee page of this website.

If you are interested in participating in the community plan updates or would like to be kept informed of public meetings and workshops, please complete a public interest form.
