Balboa Park is a regional facility, which also provides recreational opportunities to neighboring communities. Portions of the park, which border Greater North Park, offer tennis courts, shuffleboard, a bicycle track, golf course and other forms of recreation. Morley Field is on the northeast corner of Balboa Park. It provides tennis courts, basketball courts, a children's play area, a football field, shuffleboard, soccer field and many other forms of recreation. North Park Community Park is located on Howard Street. Trolley Barn Park is on Adams Avenue. This facility serves the residents of the northwest portion of Greater North Park. Montclair Park is a neighborhood park of approximately nine acres, located south of Quince Street and next to Interstate 805. Montclair Park was formed by the road bed of the Old Wabash Highway which ran all the way to the US-Mexican border. Nile Street itself was once the Old Wabash Highway.
