The City of San Diego has completed the Linda Vista Comprehensive Active Transportation Strategy (CATS) plan in support of efforts to promote active transportation options through pedestrian and bicycle improvements. The purpose of the Linda Vista CATS plan is to develop a network that provides direct and convenient connections for residential areas, schools, employment centers, transit stations, public places, retail, and community destinations. The plan includes an analysis of Linda Vista's existing pedestrian and bicycle conditions and needs. Mobility improvements are identified and projects are prioritized for implementation. The CATS plan is funded by an Active Transportation Grant from San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG).

For additional information regarding the Linda Vista CATS project, please contact the City's Project Manager, Melissa Garcia at magarcia@sandiego.gov or (619) 236-6173.
