Parks

San Ysidro Recreation Center - A 3.6 acre linear park in the center of the community that is bounded by East and West Park Avenues, Seaward Avenue, and West San Ysidro Blvd. The center has two recreation/multipurpose buildings, a senior center, tot lot, tennis and basketball courts.

Cesar Chavez Community Center and Larsen Field - located at 455 Sycamore Road is a 16 acre park in the southern part of the community. It has a recreation building, baseball and soccer fields.

Vista Terrace Park - located at 301 Athey Avenue is a 6.7 acre park in the northern area with multipurpose baseball/soccer fields and a swimming pool.

Howard Lane Park - located at Dairy Mart and Plantel Way is a 6.6 acre park in the northwestern part of San Ysidro with basketball, playing fields, tot lot and a picnic facility.

Col. Irving J. Salomon Community Center - located at 179 Diza Road is a 1.45 acre park in the northeast section of the community with a multipurpose building containing an indoor basketball court, game area, and meeting room.
