The documents listed below can be obtained by contacting Publications, Development Services Department at (619) 446-5100. The MSCP Plan and the City of San Diego Subarea Plan can also be reviewed below or at your local library.

Final MSCP Plan

The Final MSCP Plan, available at the County of San Diego MSCP Portal, establishes the planning framework for the Multiple Species Conservation Program and guides the preparation of individual subarea plans for each jurisdiction within the MSCP Planning Area. City of San Diego MSCP Subarea Plan

The City of San Diego Subarea Plan guides the establishment of the City of San Diego Multi-Habitat Planning Area (MHPA) preserve system.

MSCP Implementing Agreement

The Implementing Agreement (PDF: 107K) between the City of San Diego, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Game addresses implementation of the Subarea Plan and grants the City permit authority over those plant and animal species listed as threatened/endangered covered by the subarea plan.

This section is intended to provide a helpful link to the most commonly referenced MSCP implementing regulations and development guidelines to ensure conformance with the MSCP.

MSCP Annual Reports

The MSCP Annual Public Workshop Summary Reports are archived on this web site.

Maps Online

San Diego Geographic Information Source (SanGIS) provides online geographic mapping information for the City of San Diego Multi-Habitat Planning Area (MHPA) preserve. SanGIS Interactive Maps can be customized to provide data layers useful for identifying whether an individual parcel or geographic area is within the MHPA preserve.
