Priscilla Berge
Priscilla Berge holds a Master of Arts degree in American Studies from San Diego State University and was Advanced to Candidacy for her Ph.D. in History from UC San Diego. Ms. Berge actively participated in the development of the American Indian Studies program at San Diego State University as a lecturer and teaching assistant, was faculty advisor to the Native American students’ organization and served on University committees.
Ms. Berge is a historian by profession and meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for professional qualifications in history. She is a historical resources consultant and an avid volunteer.
She devotes significant time to volunteering in support of preserving historical resources, as a docent, and is presently coordinating the nomination of a Kensington suburb as a residential historic district.
