Laura Burnett, Vice Chair
Ms. Burnett serves as vice chair of the Historical Resources Board and is a member of the committees for Policy, Design Assistance, and Archaeology. As a landscape architect with Wallace Roberts & Todd, LLC. Ms. Burnett has led a range of planning and design projects extending from the University of Alaska Fairbanks to New Orleans City Park (established in 1891). Locally, she completed the University Center/Sixth College Neighborhood Planning Study for UCSD and served as a senior designer for the national award winning Palisades Park and South Beach in Santa Monica.
She earned a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design in 1986 and Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University in 1983.
Ms. Burnett lives and works in downtown San Diego.
