First Contact Assistance

Before making modifications to a building, contact the Historical Resources staff

If you own a structure that is designated over 45 years of age that you would like to modify in some way, there may be historical guidelines that you must follow [or may want to follow] depending on your situation. The options for seeking guidance from the Historical Resources Board staff are outlined in the first contact assistance document.

Historical Surveys

Historical surveys are inventories of properties that are at least 45 years old and have reasonable architectural integrity.
