Community Planning Area demographics

For demographic profiles for each of the City’s Community Planning Areas go to http://cart.sandag.org/pw/, choose Census 2000, then choose Community Planning Areas – SD City, then select a Community and click "Get Data."

Annual Population & Housing Estimates

Each year SANDAG produces estimates of population and housing characteristics for small geographic areas. These estimates are controlled to the California Department of Finance (DOF) January 1 jurisdiction-level estimates, which are released each May.

Go to http://profilewarehouse.sandag.org, choose Current Estimates, and select which geographic area type you are interested in and then the actual geography you would like to see an estimate of population and housing. Then choose "Get Data."
