Field Services

The Field Services Unit is staffed with Forensic Specialists who are on call 24 hours a day. The Forensic Specialists respond to homicides, questionable deaths, officer involved shootings, and other crimes at the discretion of the scene detectives.	Black Powder Dusting Area
Forensic Specialists locate, photograph, collect, and preserve physical evidence including latent prints, footwear impressions, biological and trace evidence, etc.	Super Glue Tanks
They are equipped to photograph and collect evidence at all of the various types of crime scenes and testify as an expert witness. They provide specialized training when requested by neighboring agencies.	Swabbing a Bloodstain
