Fingerprinting services are no longer available at San Diego Police facilities. Beginning July 1, 2005 the California Department of Justice requires that all applicant fingerprint submissions be transmitted electronically. Live Scan digital submissions provide the quickest way to submit and process fingerprint records. Download this form, then take it to any of the Live Scan sites listed on the California Attorney General's web site.

Vacation House Checks
Volunteers from Southern Division will conduct a security check on your home while you are on vacation. To request this service, go to Southern Division, Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm or call (619) 424-0400, (619) 424-0460 or (619) 575-1135.
"You Are Not Alone" YANA Checks
If you know someone who is elderly or disabled and also alone, volunteers from Southern Division will stop by and check on these people regularly. To request this service, go to Southern Division, Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm or call (619) 424-0460 or (619) 575-1135.
